SINGAPORE, JANUARY 14, 2021 – Singaporean Electric Vehicle brand Scorpio Electric has unveiled the X model prototype. This will be the first of many prototypes that will pave the way for the series production of Singapore’s first fully built electric motorcycle.

Singapore, 9 November 2020 – Scorpio Electric is a smart electric vehicle company specialising in creating electric motorcycles with a focus on high performance. Scorpio Electric has raised US$6.3 million in funding to develop and produce their latest zero-emission, fully electric motorcycles.

Dr. Reza joins as Scorpio Electric’s Acting Chief Operating Officer and Head of Engineering. He will captain the vehicle development team, and additionally tasked building out his team. Prior to his appointment, he ran tightly-knit group of highly talented individuals on manufacturing technology development, as well as upskilling people and companies through various research projects at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

Julian Legazpi joins Scorpio Electric as the Chief Commercial Officer. He will lead the strategic growth of the business and our inevitable global expansion. An industry veteran, he brings a wealth of experience, having spent a decade at the KTM Group, Europe’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Asia. He also led the development and served as Director of KTM’s Asia Manufacturing hub in the Philippines, and led the strategic marketing efforts for global growth markets et the headquarter in Austria. Julian Is an avid motorcyclist, with a passionate belief In disruptive technology.

Kwang Sheun joins us as Scorpio Electric’s Chief Technology Officer. With him, he brings a wealth of experience ranging from his time as a development engineer at Apple, to entrepreneurial ventures centered around battery technologies and Artificial intelligence, to most recently leading the Singapore Government Autonomous Vehicle program.
