SINGAPORE, 8 November 2023 - Scorpio Electric Pte. Ltd (“Scorpio Electric”), Singapore’s first electric motorcycle manufacturer, is proud to announce the global launch of their highly anticipated electric maxi-scooter, the Scorpio Electric X1 (“X1”), alongside the exciting introduction of two visionary prototypes within their new Infinity concepts. This bold new chapter and landmark moment takes centre stage at Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA) exhibition, the world's premier motorcycle exhibition, from 7-12 November 2023 in Milan, Italy.

X1 – Future Unseen
The X1 is named after the most powerful star in the Scorpio constellation. Designed to challenge the boundaries of urban electric mobility that features a futuristic and unique design in a practical maxi-scooter form factor, and is equipped with the latest smart rider technology and connectivity. The X1’s launch marks the culmination of extensive development programmes, which commenced with physical production testing earlier this year and has roots in development efforts dating back to 2019.
Performance
The X1 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 105 km/h. Its robust powertrain boasts a maximum power output of 10kW, driven by a 72V 5kWh Proprietary battery pack that is air-cooled for maximum endurance and reliability. With an impressive range of up to 200km at 40km/h, the X1 beckons riders to adventure without limits.
Design Language
The X1's dimensions stand at 2,125mm in length, 775mm in width, and 1,212mm in height, offering a balanced size and appeal. Its wheelbase of 1,525mm adds an element of stability while ensuring nimble manoeuvrability through city streets. Weighing in at a mere 185kg, the X1 is a uniquely designed electric maxi-scooter for eco-conscious individuals who want to stand out.
Engineering at its Heart
Built upon a foundation of engineering innovation, the X1 boasts a framework designed for the pursuit of excellence. Together with its single-sided aluminium swingarm, an upside-down front fork and dual-rated shock absorber at the rear bring precision and superior handling to every ride. With X1 Cast AI ENKEI rims, Pirelli tires, and J JUAN brakes featuring a BOSCH 2-Channel ABS system, the X1 sets a new standard for stability and braking performance.
Connectivity & Control
The X1 stands out as a trailblazer in innovation with its advanced headlight technology, complete with adaptive cornering lights. A futuristic 7-inch TFT display transforms your ride into an immersive experience. In addition to its seamless charging capabilities reaching 90% capacity in just 3 hours, the X1 grants unprecedented control at your fingertips – including a controlled steering lock, reverse assist, vehicle lock/unlock, remotely stop charging, seat cover and charger cover remote release, and even vehicle analytics into your ride to fine-tune energy regeneration to your desire.
