SINGAPORE, 11 June 2026 – Scorpio Electric, Singapore’s pioneering electric motorcycle manufacturer, is thrilled to announce that its flagship smart electric motorcycle, the Lambda Scorpii, has successfully received conditional Vehicle Type Approval from the Land Transport Authority (“LTA”) of Singapore.
This milestone clearance marks a definitive step toward mass production scaling and commercial road readiness. The approval code issued by LTA formally permits the registration of the Lambda Scorpii in Singapore, paving the way for the premium electric motorcycle to hit local roads in the near future.

- Emergency Preparedness: Coordinating with the Singapore Civil Defence Force to share Vehicle Specific Information, contributing directly to national emergency response standards for high-performance electric vehicles.
- Infrastructure Compatibility: Educating future owners on utilising LTA-registered and fully compatible EV charging systems across the island.
- Technical Compliance: Ensuring rigorous quality control for all localised components, including headlamp testing standards, and secure registration plates prior to delivery.
- Future-Proofing Safety: Ensuring that all subsequent iterations continue to meet and exceed evolving safety regulations, including the upcoming 2027 Anti-lock Braking System standards.
