SINGAPORE, AUG 08, 2022 – EuroSports Technologies Pte. Ltd. (“EST”) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Goh Yi Shun, Joshua (“Joshua Goh”), to the role of Chief Executive Officer with effect from 8 August 2022. The company’s present CEO, Mr. Goh Kim San (“Melvin Goh”), will be re-designated as Founder Adviser, and will serve in the capacity of a strategic mentor. As EST welcomes its next phase of growth, the new appointment will be instrumental to the company’s succession planning, paving the path for the next generation of leadership excellence. As CEO, Mr. Joshua Goh’s key areas of focus will be general management, business development, strategic planning and fundraising.
Since Mr. Joshua Goh joined EuroSports Global Limited in 2017, he undertook a variety of responsibilities from general operations, strategic planning, and business development. In 2020, he served as an Executive of the CEO office and subsequently took over the reins as Deputy CEO in 2021. Mr. Joshua Goh is able to articulate and translate the vision of Mr. Melvin Goh through the business. Over the past year, Mr. Joshua Goh led the team by providing strategic guidance and direction, through a series of milestones such as successful fundraising rounds and brand equity development.
Commenting on his promotion, Mr. Joshua Goh said, “It is a great honour to lead Scorpio Electric, and also to be under the tutelage of our founder, Melvin. We will bring the founder’s electric vehicle dream to reality. We need to be bold and different in order to stand out amongst others, and that is the DNA of Scorpio Electric.”

In 2021, EST’s Scorpio Electric unveiled and launched the pre-order of Singapore’s first electric motorcycle, X1, globally. Named after one of the most powerful stars in the Scorpio constellation, the X1 echoes the brand’s fundamental ethos – design, technology, and performance – with notable features including futuristic and sleek design, seamless connectivity via company’s mobile application, an array of built-in sensors to collect live data for AI-assisted predictive analysis to enhance riding efficiencies, as well as a top speed of 105kph and a class-leading range of 200km1 in a single charge.
The X1 is Scorpio Electric’s first foray into the premium electric motorcycle space. The X1 market entry will lead the brand into other premium electric motorcycle models as Scorpio Electric paves the way for a new exciting era of sustainable mobility.
